The State Of Blizzard

Leave it to us to make a big fuss about something that doesn't change shit. If people just weren't so whiny about it. Anything you do aside from commenting on their game would be more helpful to this misguided cause. But hey, now you gave the game you hate so much the biggest amount of exposure possible!

And then we get all the theatrical posts, "vote with your wallets!" as if there weren't enough gamers lining up to play Diablo on commutes or in bed. Or all the people pretending like the switch is a real option to a device that fits in your pockets as opposed to a backpack.

The worst damage done is to Wyatt Cheng, a guy who proved that he cares about the game. Why? Because people just randomly lash out and give him shit for getting nervous about all of this instead of maybe considering the fact that they missed every single hint up to this point: yes, putting it last was a big mistake, but it's not like it came as a surprise either - we knew there wasn't going to be a D4 announcement and a D2 remake doesn't fit the bill nearly as well as WC3 or SC.

But I guess we're fighting now, until everyone forgets and something else is happening.
