Actually, it is less damaging. I'm not saying this as partisan, tearing up a speech out of exasperated contempt is Pelosi expressing demonstrating her feelings in a restrained manner that doesn't inflict itself on others. It doesn't violate basic decorum. Is it a good look? No.

Boebert and MTG acting like heathen baboons and inflict themselves on others in a public and obnoxious fashion and violates numerous social norms. Behaving like that in public or at work would get you escorted out. Destroying your own copy of something in an open fashion might get you talked to and a check in.

I literally just witnessed someone get fired after they literally blew up at another person during a meeting that included shouting and borderline vulgar language. Boebert and MTG were a lot closer to that last year.
