I said that the pic in OP's meme with just void rays and carriers loses to just corruptors. That's all. and I stand by what I said because it is true.

And I'm diamond Zerg btw - I have previously placed in masters but I doubt I could do it at the moment because I watch the game a lot more than I play it for the past couple years and surely some of my mechanics have fallen off.

Obviously there is a lot more to the game but yall read into my throwaway comment way too much.

The protoss air may be the backbone of the army and it may be what people's attention is drawn to but that is not what makes the build work. Without something to splash corruptors like archons or psi-storm the protoss air has no hope. Especially if you are willing to add some vipers. I've gone up against protoss air a hundred times with just corruptors and if they don't have ground support the corruptors stomp. I've lived it and I have witnessed it in pro games a ton of times.
