A Statement From The Christian Transhumanist Association

Both christianity and Transhumanism are attempting the impossible and that is to weld the "self" "to" something.

Christianity can be seen as a 3rd wave devolution/simulacrum of Egyptian representational symbolist religion with Platonism as the translation segue. Plato "rationalized" the utterly gorgeous, fantastic and leisure-bound memphite theology into a fairly practical system that became the dominant model for western civilization, the "individual", representational systems, semiotics etc. Basically all the stuff that Derrida, Lyotard, Foucault, Deleuze etc were explicitly attacking with their "philosophy of difference".

Transhumanism is in a way the exact opposite of Egyptian resurrection alchemy. The secret teaching of the tomb, and was also hinted at in the mystagogic teaching of Platos soma/sema concept in the Gorgias, is that earth is hell. Our body is a tomb and the soul is confined to flesh similar to a prison or fence. This lends itself to seeing the world as either a prison or a school. A practical if ineffable perspective.

Transhumanism however is very much an orgiastic Christian crescendo and very much a consumerist christian short cut at that.

The purpose of gnosis and philosophia as taught by Socrates and the Egyptian adepts whom influenced Iiamblichhus, Pythagoras and Plato was solely concerned with the art of dying.

Having a death while still alive so that one could be reborn. Sound familiar?

It's funny how as mercantilist systems spread and became more dense that the leisure time of the society was decreased so much so and the impoverished spiritual experience so bad that all that wonderful Egyptian magic and all that dialectical platonic philosophy was all crammed into the "resurrection"- the Christ on cross is suffering the risen Christ is salvation from suffering. There you go, you get it! It's that simple! Now go back to work.

So Transhumanism siphons much of its vital essence from the very suffering that impoverishes this world. It is an attempt to sidestep the actual ars moriendi and just buy the ooey gooey good stuff that comes from a trip to the amduat.

It is absolutely hilariously apocalyptic nonsensical diabolism. pure demonry of the lowest most banal order.

It will be the breeding ground of not man as god but man as satan or set as he was known 3000 years before Christ.

The people who could use Transhumanist technology for the betterment of man, the Buddhist monks, philosopher kings etc dokt need it and the worst most despicable, greedy, sloven, hollow, shallow slithering psychopaths of our kind cant wait to get ahold of it.

Transhumanism will breed techno-fascism, that's it.

Much like disneys fantasia is an example of sorcery for all the wrong reasons, Transhumanism is the modern day charlatans alchemy. And woe to the gold makers.

I used to be a Transhumanist years ago and thought it was "cool".

Hopefully you will take the full trip or at least be willing to, and see that it is death incarnate. It is the opposite of eternal life in heaven and at the same time the culmination of a failed 2000 year long conceptualization of "self" that increasingly eliminated soteriology from its diet until finally all the little "selves" are swimming in a filthy proteum of septic miasma but look at all the cool stuff we can buy! And the Transhumanist is a self devoid of faith, love for god, and love of man. Merely a body, a compendium of urges tethered to monolithic institutions wishing fulfil it's filial duty to shop, consume, orgasm and pleasure for as long as the ethnology will allow it.

Christianity has been a war against circular time, myth, reincarnation, ascendancy, agency, spirit, soul, death, nature, transcendence and heaven itself (because no one is sure if they are going!).

As Gauchet (and Deleuze) said, christianity is the "religion that destroyed religion".

I find it fitting that someone would seek to combine the two so gracefully!

Ima believe in Jesus but Ima weld myself in an apparatus that extends life indefinitely just in case.

And isn't this honestly the reasonable conclusion of the fear and death and Protestant systematic? Grace so mangled that nary a shred to tide you over until that sweet moment?

Look at how Christians treat death. How our culture treats death. Death and mortality itself is a disease. It is loathed and feared more than anything else. It is a toxic poison we avoid at all costs. We do not worship our ancestors because ancestor worship is reincarnation. This is what christianities war on paganism has wrought. Lifeless toxicity. Failed, rigid idealism that no one believes in and this disbelief is proven by how we "revere" our elderly and deceased. They await in their toxin leaking coffin in a rotting puddle of morbid gray goo for the "ressurection"!! Oh hallelujah! Look how much we believe! We believe so thoroughly we will wipe our ass with everything and care nothing about the future, our legacy, our past.

Atheism can only follow christianity just like nihilism can only come after christianity.

Nihilism is the first half of the death of god cycle.

Transhumanism is the second half.

Western capitalism is the dynamo for technological progress and nothing good can come from this system as it stands so as long as capitalism continues unabated, any life extension technologies will only lead to man turning thoroughly into satan.

Transhumanism is the cowardly conclusion of the utterly failed Christian conception of the "self". A cognizing personality shopping forever.

The more I see of this world the more I believe it is indeed a school, or for some a prison- such as the transhumanist prison guards, and all I can do is do the best I can and try not to get too much capitalism on me in the process. Reincarnation at this point is the only thing that makes any sense of this world.

I used to be completely flabbergasted by Neo-materialists calling for "anti-humanism" but now I understand it. Now I understand the Deleuzian project better than I did. Christianity truly ruined everything. Ossified everything that was good about life and experience and killed it and restrained it through fear and threat of damnation.
