Staying with a (foreign) friend in Beijing using the 72 hour transit visa for a weekend. Register with police?!

I'm just going to reply to your PM you posted me and as a reply your post here, which you clearly posted on an alt-'ccount.

This is your full PM here-

Just wanted to reply to you because you sound uniformed and arrogant.

Really? Then why did you delete yourself from your post??

1- I don't want a z visa, I have a residence permit so I need a residence/work permit transfer as it is clearly stated on my post.

A z-visa IS a work visa. You cannot get a z-visa on just a few hours of part-time work and it's illegal to work without a work/business/performance visa.

Also, from what you posted on your alt-'ccount that you delete, you likely only have a temporary residency permit because you're only staying for 180-days.

2- if I wanted a z visa which I don't, then you should know that there is no legal requirement of hours or salary. I could even start my own company and hire myself. If you read the law, there are no requirements of hours/salary.

Once again, you CANNOT work without work z visa. By all means, do show me this law that says you can work a few hours a week.

And you cannot set up any business in China without a native business partner; friend, SO or investor.

3- I don't want to work in China, I just want to live here and be legally allowed to do the things that I can already do minus having to go be a clown like 99.99999% of foreigners are in this country.

If you don't want to work, then why post saying such???

Tone down the arrogance, you're an English teacher.

Yes. I am. LEGALLY! Which means I don't have to look over my shoulder worried about getting pinched because I'm working without a visa.

And the reason for my tone is because I am tired- so very very tired- of working with induviduals who are trying go round a system they know nothing about and risking, not just their job and status, but also mine!

You are trying to achieve something that is putting yourself at risk. Stop.

And, don't ever PM me again. I never invited you to do so and you're clearly not to be trusted if you keep deleting posts you want to comment about.

The z visa only allows you to enter China for the propose to get your residence permit and it's only valid for 30 days.

I'm very legal in China and there are no restrictions to getting a work permit/residence permit in terms of hours and salary.

Foreigners are allowed to 100% own companies in China.
