Honestly...its a pretty great time to be a thief. Very little teeth to the law...people go through life essentially zonked out asleep at the wheel (especially a retail store employee or whatever), no one really cares anymore...I will say that YMMV, though, it can be different in different areas or whatnot. But if you're familiar with the place, know the lack of security, etc, then go for it. Companies plan for a certain amount of lost product and theft, it's not like you're doing anything extremely bad that will hurt them in any real way. The only thing you hurt is your conscience. But that's just a dumb uppity grasshopper, so who cares, you know?
