[Stein] Decision on NBA discipline for Milwaukee’s Grayson Allen has not yet been made but the league DOES take into account any injury suffered by the offended player.

I knew nothing would happen cause Mueller didn’t want anything to happen. I didn’t expect him to indict the president by any means, he was not even willing to press on interviewing him (which would be under oath) and we all know how that would’ve gone. But damn I at least expected an obvious concrete statement on the matter.

Dude released a 200 page document that 1/100th of the country read, if that. He was non committal on the important aspects and the language was grey enough that people who had read it could easily convince themselves it meant nothing. They didn’t interview major players tied to the campaign or question them about their contacts etc. The media put them on as the legal team all stars and then we preceded to watch them immediately take the most passive and non invasive approach possible.

What a waste of money and political capital for zero positive outcome. It’s like they thought Mueller was above all this shit or something. Then they go and make the same mistake with making Merrick Garland AG. Merrick Garland is basically a conservative, he got nominated for the Supreme Court because Mitch had blocked every nomination and had put out a press statement saying if Obama would just nominate someone moderately like Garland he would happily hold a vote. Then Obama called his bluff, McConnell thought he was too conservative for Obama to accept and then they instantly turned on Garland. Why the fuck would they make that guy AG?
