Stephen A. can't contain his laughter after Max picks Giants to win NFC East - ESPN Video

The giants were arguably the worst offense of 2021...i know it was the jets, but it was the giants...so anemic that they couldn't score the league average in pts (24.8 pts) in 13 out of 16 games. It's NOT Washington, it's our own giants. they were 31st in overall offense and 31st in red zone offense...You really think

How can we not, as giants fans, argue that the giants did not go from pretty much the worst offense in football to something of substance with a) the return of Barkley, b) the signing of Golladay (tall) and Ross (fast), c) 3 rookies who made big improvements last year from beginning to end of the season (one of the big reasons why we went from 1-7 to 5-3 back half of the year, and probably another offensive lineman in the 1st or 2nd round (It just feels like Slater, doesn't it? literally all the other positions are pretty much covered).

If they argument is that washington got better, they STILL lost both their games last year to the giants. In fact, for a while, Daniel Jones' only wins were against Washington. Bottom line is that the giants actually match up well against them, and while washington ALSO went 5-3 their last 8 games, those games were against arguably the softest schedule in the nfl (bengals, cowboys, 9ers (devastated by injuries last year) and eagles were 4 of those 5 wins. At least...AT LEAST...the giants could say that they beat 2 playoff teams in their 5 wins...one of them, oh yeah, WASHINGTON!

But seriously....when we played with Tate on the field, he scared NOBODY deep...made it hard on Barkley, AND the backups to run because the linebackers and safeties were up closer to the line. Or, the defense learned they could leave their CB on an island, and bring them up. You won't be able to do that anymore with Golladay and Ross stretching the field. Slayton also? Good luck defenses! Engram will be wide open across the middle...that's assuming he can catch.

Washington won on their defense....their offense was not much better. they scored below league average in 12 out of 16 games.
