Stephen Colbert throws out monologue, gets visibly choked up over Trump trying to 'poison American democracy'

I think he means delusional enough to constantly shift the goalpost, for example from

"The left took the loss in 2016"

to

"The left did not specifically try to investigate fraud in specific relation to changing the vote count, no matter the other types of election fraud being investigated."

But do you honestly think that if in 2016 certain Republican states changed the law to allow unmarked ballot mail 3 days after the election, or gave the entire population mail in ballots making walk-in ballots provisional, and then 5 states that start off blue shift red overnight and they are all within 30,000 votes, that the left would be screaming "There is no possible way Trump could have changed the vote count, everybody move along?"
