Steps to immigrate to Canada

I'm no immigration expert, so this is my 2 cents based on what I've heard from immigrant colleagues and friends.

Assuming you have a bachelors degree, you could trying acquiring a masters here, and then using it along with your work experience to find a job. This may be an expensive route, so if you go down this path, save up.

You could also network as much as possible within your firm, if not outside at networking events, and attempt at landing an interview with a firm in Canada through it. You will have to demonstrate why they'd want to go through the trouble of hiring you over a Canadian resident/citizen though.

Keep in mind, many (if not most, correct me if I'm wrong) immigrants really struggle to get a job in the field of work they're professionally trained in, eventually leading to an alternative (possibly more menial) career here.

As long as you can pick up and improve communication with people around you casually and professionally, language shouldn't be a problem (assuming you're solid with your foundation of it).

I'd say your best bet of increasing your chances are:

-> Getting to know more people based here within or around your professional and family network

-> Making sure you're financially stable (seriously, save up!)

-> Improving your english.
