Still haven't heard back from any schools...

Yeah you were prob yield protected. My MCAT is a few points higher but I submitted back in June, have lots of DO shadowing & LOR, all in primary care settings, essays are extremely patient/holistic centered, and have heard nothing but silence from 7 DO schools. I have friends who applied to the same schools with much lower stats, and they applied months after me, and some have been accepted for a while now.

I got 10+ MD iis so I seriously doubt any red flag/ bad essays were the issue. I didn’t believe in yield protection (and still don’t for MD schools) and don’t wanna assume that I was “”too good,”” but I literally have ties to some of those schools and not even 1 ii lol
