In reality, since a very few powerful families own nearly every single bank in the world (bar 1 or 2 idk) with the most prominent ones being the Federal Reserve, Bank of England and Swiss National, they have such an unimaginable amount of power at their disposal due to the monopoly that they have on paper money that they can indirectly control every person you know that is in 'power' or has 'power'. As we know by now, war is profitable AND war is the greatest debt generator (because each side wants to win they will borrow as much money to do so) You really think that the Civil War was over the rights and ownership of slaves? Lincoln is even quoted on saying "I have no right to Maybe for the plantation owners but not in the grand scheme of things. The uber rich European bankers did not want a 'United States' because that would mean one of the biggest countries on the face of the earth would gain financial independence and freedom, and not be indebted indefinitely to them. The war costed on an upwards of $300 million

We already know how corrupt politicians and governments that they form are due to greed which is a human trait and how they can be bought to push/kill bills and policies that can negatively/positively affect a significant amount of the population, so bearing that in mind, what if I told you that all these issues you discuss, debate, argue, disagree in a civil and uncivil manner (politically related) are ALL irrelevant. What if I told you
