Still think that you won't be asked political/social opinions when you first boot up the game?

Yes this is something unfair I agree, unfortunately this doesn’t happen only on gaming industry, and definitely is not the only countries that suffers this. I live in Mexico, and even though it has been talked about this. Companies or businesses still forbid for people with tattoos to work in them. People actually hide their tattoos on spots that wouldn’t be visible, like leg, arm, but wearing a shirt with long sleeve, back. We’ve definitely have still a lo to work as humans, and we won’t ever reach the point of perfection, because of the fact that perfection holds different meanings, i hope gearbox finds a way to let this go

On the other hand, it could matter at some point with people who are more extremists on their believes than the common people. Imagine if you hire a woman with extreme feminists ideas, and doesn’t like the fact that they are putting a females body like a bandit in Borderlands 3, just to be shot at. I know it sounds crazy, but there are people that actually are like that. These woman would compromise the process of the game’s making. This is obviously an unlikely example, but you get my point. There are certain instances, in which the strength of your believes could play a part with your job.

This isn’t a black or white situation. It really has a lot of shades that could talk about gearbox being intelligent, or actually just margining people. It’s not that easy to say which is.
