Stone Posted A Picture Of The Federal Judge On His Case With Crosshairs

probably for the first time in decades, is actually forced to improvise and is making mistakes.

I don't know I've recently dove head first into watergate and it really seems like whats happening is exact opposite of what's happening. They had decades of time putting people into position and saw exactly where, why and how Nixon actually got "caught". And ultimately watergate was a success, not a failure. It got them into power and kept them in long enough to get pieces in place and ultimately no one did any meaningful time and Nixon got off scott free.

Just watch any high quality watergate doc and its just a check list of hurdles that tripped up Nixon and crew and then you can see the exact moment Stone cleared that specific hurdle. I think this is all part of the plan. He might not get the exact outcome he wants on every little variable along the way but there whole plan is still working. They're still making appointments in the DOJ and the courts that they'll have in play for decades. They're still destroying regulations that might never be rebuilt and doing permanent damage to the environment in the mean time.

tl;dr I think part of the reason people think he's flailing is because they don't realize how similar this has been to watergate and how success of a scam that was.
