Stop asking me if we can switch seats on an airplane

this happened to me many years ago, where I had gotten up early hours before the flight to pre-select my seat on the airlines website, grabbed a window seat, get on the flight, get seated, 2 seats to the left of me, older guy in the aisle seat, seat in between empty, 20ish girl sites in the middle on, the other girl with her asks me, can I have your seat? Clearly she was trying to get a window seat next to her friend last minute just for asking...I simply ask "why?" in a matter-of-fact tone because frankly I didn't want to give up my seat and she could have asked anybody else including the older guy but you know she asked me because it was a window seat. She cops and attitude and seems insulted that I asked and didn't just blindly comply and give up my seat immediately. Thankfully before she finished her sentence the older guy gave up his seat for her... so all my time spent planning ahead can just be thrown out the window because someone who feels entitled merely asks someone at the last minute and I'm sure they were playing the I'm a woman and you should be a gentleman card and give up your seat. Anyway they proceeded to be annoying and irritating for the rest of the flight perhaps as veiled revenge against me for not giving up my seat for them....
