Stop discriminating against little dogs [Vent]

This is not an excuse. My Chihuahua's parents were yappy and had to be restrained when we came to view her as they were not friendly. I was concerned by their behaviour but I went ahead with getting the puppy anyway. I put in the time and effort to train her, she was never problematic, she took all the training and socialisation in her stride. It just proves that nothing is truely hard wired into these dogs, it's how we raise them. People don't do enough research before getting a dog and then will just blame the dog when things don't go their way. Dogs need to be taught manners, they aren't born with it. What this comment section has shown me is that people should have really gotten a goldfish instead of a dog.
