I think it's absurd to shut the door on this idea, for the right price. I don't think it will happen but I'll never say no to what the team feels is best for them.

That said, you aren't going to find a player of his caliber for around $5 million a year and that same player want to play here for less apparently in order to not relocate his family.

You find me a LT of Brandon Marshalls ability level for less than 7 million and I'll pay for him myself.

I wish people would be realistic and understand that Ereck Flowers is our LT, he's a top 10 pick entering his 3rd year, is he good? No, but it's what Reese does, JT Thomas can't stay healthy but he's still on the team, it's how we and most teams operate.

Hank isn't coming back unless he takes a discount, he wants Snacks money and he isn't getting that from us regardless of signing Marshall. Our offense got bailed out a ton by OBJ last season, we were 21 in the league in yards per attempt, yet this statistic masked by Odell taking 4 yard slants 85 yards. We need a big body on the outside, it will be addressed at some point.

Marshall would be our number 2, can't imagine people think SS is better than him, Marshall is a proven number 1 in this league who is far above decent when a solid QB is throwing to him.

I think it's wild to accuse people of playing fantasy football when Marshall has stated he wants to remain in NY, play for a contender and although he will never publically admit he is willing to take a discount, it is obvious he is. No person who wants to maximize their earnings would state before negotiations that they wish to remain in the same city, it's a great bargaining chip for the Giants. Offer him 2 years, $9 million with 5 upfront.

Marshall is more likely than AP, I think the majority of people here know this to be true. The draft is where we will have to clean up the OL, if we signed Marshall I think we could lock a tackle in at 23 whether Ramcyzk falls or Bolles, who I believe either could start at RT for us this upcoming season.
