stop supporting kickstarter MMOs

You're assuming that everyone in the world prefers the way newer MMO's do things, and there is no viable market for old school MMO's.

Stuff like Project Gorgon already disputes that stance, as does the continued existence of Ultima Online, EVE Online, Everquest 1 and other older MMO's do, as well as the multitude of private servers such as Project 1999.

Given the way current MMO's are mostly actively trying to chase "normal" people away with their own cash grabs, it makes sense that there's a healthy demographic which would like to go back to their roots, as it were.

Just because most kickstarters don't seem to go anywhere doesn't mean that all of them will fail. I wonder what exactly you base this on, especially since most of the ones you mentioned seem to be coming along pretty well and are scheduled for release some time this or next year (Star Citizen aside). Lets see how they turn out.
