Stopped loosing doing 5/2. Any advice?

(Disclaimer that this reply is viewing fasting from a weight loss only perspective and not the other benefits)

As of Friday I weighed 205.2 with 2 days of eating at 4 days of fasting I’m at 205.9.

It’s not that I’m not loosing weight, I know it will happen, it’s with a slow enough metabolism, then it’s possible (although unlikely) that you will gain more fat from 2 days of eating then you will loose from 5 days of fasting. If that’s the case, then even with fasting 5 days a week you will still gain weight.

I’ve had a similar issue before (before fasting), people said “just eat less, you’ll lose weight” and “it’s simple calories in and calories out” but when I went months on end of consuming 40 calories a week (I would make 1 can of Jack Links Teriyaki Jerky Chew would last a week) I still gained weight (don’t ask me how, no idea, should be impossible, I just know it happened)

Now my solution for this is either just do an extended fast or eat better on the 2 days. I figure I can either eat keto type foods to break the fast but hopefully not make my body leave ketosis. Or just healthy foods in general so I’m not putting on a bunch of weight during the two days.

But even then, if it’s true that I’m only burning 1,300kcal per day with my metabolism (and all the other weight lost was due to food in my system and water weight), I don’t think .3lbs/day (2.1lbs/week) is worth the fasting. I’ve gotten better results than they eating to my hearts content (healthy foods) while going to the gym (assuming I’m not going to the gym while fasting)
