I stopped paying a monthly phone bill and save over $600 a year on average

Tbh I don't use public wifi often i just added that to my post because it's everywhere now and is just as good as data. Or so I thought lol! Maybe you're right about the privacy concerns, maybe you're not and you're just paranoid. Without that info I can't make a fair assessment. I guess I'll have to go research that on my own. So I guess thanks for at least bringing it up. But I don't personally need to be connected 24/7 to social media. I pretty much just reddit on public wifi or check emails anyway. I don't use Facebook aside from the messenger because it's free and convenient but I totally understand that some people literally spend all day on it and for them paying for data is worth it.
