It’s story is IMO very good. I believe that it actually takes more risks than the first and, because of the payoff, actually hits harder by the end. I am a huge fan of the first and love it’s story, but in all truth it’s a well-executed recantation of a story that’s been done many times before. Hard, unfeeling man learns to love again on his journey with young person. The second is much more unpredictable and is a wild and profound journey. It IS depressing though and that may turn some off. The game is hated by a loud minority that will take every chance to let you know how much they hate it but I think it’s pretty well liked overall.
