I grew up in Brazil. Brazil, as some of you may know, is not an english-speaking country. Because Final Fantasy is a story-centered game with loads of text, it's not really easy to find really hardcore fans of the franchise. Also, since it's such a dangerous country, the concept of "mobile and portable" games and technology in general is just lost on us.
Anyway, I've been living in Dublin since april. One day, I went out with this girl. Coloured hair, piercings and whatnot. Beautiful and funny. We went for drinks in a pub. It was an amazing first date. We hit off really well and she invited me back to her place. She lives with these two siblings, a guy and a girl. Suddenly I spot something familiar in the guy's arm. He had a FFX logo tattoo. Now, I have some FF tattoos on me, but I have to be shirtless for you to be able to see them. Keep in mind that this was my first time meeting a potential future friend in a foreign country, the first time I met someone as geek about this as me and the first time I was at this girl's place. So I couldn't go too crazy, also the girl was calling me to her room. We talked just little bit and he told me that he was trying to get rid of this physical collection of games.
tl;dr: I spent the night with an amazing girl and walked home with the Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
