Strabismus suddenly inexplicably worsened. Any tips on improving it temporarily?

I’m going through the same thing right now, with surgery booked in about 5 months time. I have constant severe double vision and it alternates between my eyes but one is always basically looking at my nose at this point. It’s made life really hard in so many ways and honestly I struggle to go a day without walking into something or having some sort of accident, it’s a mess.

I usually just close one eye whenever I’m looking ahead, it helps a ton with headaches too. That’s all I have as far as tips go

I’ve had strabismus all my life since a child, had surgery twice already and I’m only nineteen. It’s just got so much worse over the past few months, I really hope it goes away for a few years this time
