All these people have are vague appeals to a modern conception of morality. They are extremely ignorant, arrogant people, that lack the intellectual honesty to be able to really evaluate their own beliefs, and truly ask themselves whether this whole modern notion of absolute equality between everyone is actually an accurate assessment of reality or just a fantasy.
Because they lack this ability, they're simply left with group shaming language, or appeals to morality and the consensus. His "Wow.." post is just an appeal to the majority. It's the same as someone saying "Really? In 2015?". They have made a religion out of being on "the right side of history", and so all they have to do is appeal to this sense that they are on the right side of history, and for them and all the other progressives, that means they win the argument.
All those evil racists just belong in the past, don't you know that we've moved on from all of that genetic science and demonstrable genetic differences between human groups? It's 2015!
Whenever you hear someone say that or offer up a glib "Wow.." and nothing else, you know that they are just appealing to the majority progressive view and affecting a posture of incredulity, as they can hardly believe that someone even dares to think of raising such a belief in such progressive times as ours.
Unfortunately for them the science of genetics is not slowing down, and sooner or later all of these lies will collapse under their own weight. These people see all the shiny Celebs, all the huge crowds of smily people dancing and being happy together and "celebrating equality", and they truly think that it is the end of the story.
They're in for a rude awakening. History does not lie. The entire world can be enthralled to a lie but the truth always outs eventually. That's what these people don't see. They're so enthralled by the glitz and the glam of the modern fantasy of progressivism and equality, that they've lost sight of the lessons of history, and they are not humble to the evidence.
The person Xsafa has just retreated from the conversation as if to stress how moral he is for not even talking to an evil racist. "Have a good say sir, I refuse to even talk to you as your opinions are so below me I will not even waste my time on evil racists like you, look at how moral I am for taking the high road".
Like I said, though equality is always spoken of in terms of appealing to a common humanity, it is actually an extremely arrogant and obnoxious ideology that relies upon a priori assumptions of moral superiority to keep itself afloat.
