strange mysteries new narrator? what happened with the sarcastic dude that everyone love? why he left?

Let me address this official statement from Strange Mysteries:

"He always kept trying to rewrite and change the scripts my writer wrote in unnecessary ways. (Incorrect and highly misleading~Nathan was given a discounted rate in exchange for our company advertising and as such he was made aware that we wouldn't allow substandard script writing to be produced without correction as that would reflect poorly on us. He was informed of this many times and had to be reminded many times)

He said he would spend hours fact checking everything (not his job and he was usually wrong) and making sure all the pronunciations were correct, then send me e-mails where he insulted my writer. (Our production company is a legit operation that has done dozens of high profile productions for the likes of CuriosityStream, The NM State Department of Health as well as many private businesses, for Nathan to suggest that it's not our job to check scripts for pronunciations for narrations is highly ridiculous. Nathan was told many times that his script writing department was responsible for supplying proper pronunciations for names and obscure references/titles. Regardless of this, he never took these directions to his scriptwriters and constantly put the responsibility on us to supply that work on top of the discounted rates for production. We never sent any emails directly to his writer, they were only sent to Nathan.)

It got to the point where simply because he couldn't JUST read the scripts for some reason or use translate.google.com's listen button to know how to say someone's last name close enough that he overwhelmed himself and became too much of a problem for me and everyone else on my team." (Nathan was told many times that we required proper pronunciations for obscure names and places, despite these repeated requests they were ignored, sadly for us, as a real production company we couldn't allow bad performance by his team to slip by us and we were the ones having to do extra script research without pay for over a year.

Every time we brought up to Nathan that pronunciations weren't being supplied he kept telling us 'to make up the word.' We kept telling him that by agreeing to this production in no way meant we would sabotage or lower our production standards to fit his model. He kept referring us to Google Translate as the 'official tool' for pronunciations. As we told Nathan many times, as a professional production company, Google Translate is not a tool for seeking pronunciations.

Nathan was not only, not appreciative, we had many instances where the 'script writer' and the 'video editor' would leave glaring mistakes in their work because neither would check. Worse, after providing top notch production, quite often we'd find the video editor purposefully uploading glitch plagued productions instead of fixing and re-rendering work.

It got to the point that we were the only one's putting effort into the production and Nathan was too consumed with travelling the world to give our direction to his script writer or video editor. There was no 'Team' there was only us and a group of people that didn't care about the quality of the production.

We were subsidizing Nathan's requests to the tune of 30 dollars per episode where in some cases we had to do 4 hours per episode. The agreement had us supplying 5 episodes a week at 8minutes per episode.

Then he wanted 10 minute episodes for the same price and agreement. Then he wanted 12 minute episodes for the same price and agreement. Then he wanted 12 minute episode produced into two separate pieces one for his YouTube channel and one for his Patreon channel.

At no point of time did Nathan offer a new agreement to us, but he was starting to pay for weird items like special production music etc...

Then he demanded that we supply him with a 30 MINUTE production on top of the regular productions for his Patreon channel. After we explained to him that we've been working nonstop, 7 days a week for months and were tired and burned out and needed a few days rest...he badgered us with insulting emails, telling us how much a problem we were to him etc....

We at that point told Nathan that we no longer had an agreement and he was free to find someone else. At no point of time did Nathan fire us.

None of this has been mentioned on his channel as despite his over exaggerations and outright misleading statement, it's not our practice to take a dispute onto a client or former clients place of business.)

Hope that answers all your questions.
