'Stranger Things' Renewed for Season 3 at Netflix

I'm sorry if I came off as hostile. I just don't understand why many people want to take the unique elements of a show that makes it that particular show out of the picture.

Its like taking magic out of Harry Potter. A movie about Harry's life before the letter arrives wouldn't really be all that interesting other than for the rare bouts of accidental magic. Sure, there will be people would want to watch Harry going to class and getting bullied and how it affects him, but the problem is that most of the people who originally started reading/watching Harry Potter didn't start doing so for these things. It built up an audience because of magic and then later removing magic would mean that it would lose a majority of its audience. The people would be interested in this new movie would have plenty of other movies to choose from that deals with that genre in a better way.
