Pre-hw is a weird spot for physical dps and tank gear. Normally, you can need on anything you equip. Cool. But, the issue is that all physical dps gear is only limited to DoW, which includes tanks. Tanks should never be wearing this gear. They should wear gear limited to tank jobs, or if they absolutely must, DRG gear(the gear that's limited to tank jobs and lnc/drg). Yet, the game allows them to need on gear that is not for them.

I'd never yell at someone over it, because yeah the game does let you do it. But it's still a dick move, because it's not gear they're gonna use for anything. It's just getting turned into fc seals, when it's something a dps could really use to improve their character.
