A streamer that cares about his viewers

1) They're not random, they're the crux of the post? 2) I'm not the confused one here- I'm just speaking to a slightly larger topic than this one particular event, having watched them both for a long time now. If it wasn't clear, I don't consider the act of reading donations to be remotely equivalent to caring about people. Your assessment of Reckful in this particular case is dead on but we seem to assess the value of that differently, and likewise I cringe when Chance worries about it on his behalf let alone his own. In my post I was trying to present a version of that view that can logically coexist alongside the other half of the posts in this thread expressing their appreciation of Chance's attitude.

Again, just to be clear, reading donations at the end of a night as a "solution" is a compromise between the binary choice of reading them or not; but what I'm more interested in is the choice of giving a fuck about that choice. Reckful just doesn't care and Chance freaks out trying to follow a rulebook that doesn't exist. The "perfect solution" is actually exactly what did happen, namely Chance pulling back for a second and going "you do you" or whatever he said. Donations getting read or not was never important.
