Streaming questions

I can't check the stream out right now as I'm on mobile, but before I stopped streaming I got 500 or so followers in a few weeks doing this:

-Fun activities. GWD, Staking, Bossing, Pking, etc. Nobody wants to watch you chop Yews unless you've got tits.

Interact with viewers. This is where a good mic/webcam comes in. You have to be energetic, ask questions, play with viewers, answer their questions. the chat is your best friend for maintaining a solid, dedicated viewer base.

Nice but unobtrusive overlays help make your stream look more professional. Don't cover too much of the screen and try to stick to neutral colors.

Music. Get some background music. your iTunes library works until you've got enough viewers for song requests or a viewer playlist. Make the music just loud enough to be heard but not enough to start to cover or distort your voice

Mod a few of your trusted viewers or friends. Just make sure they're chill and only prune the chat of spam/phishing links. Nightbot works very well here.

Stream regularly and for a long time.

twitch works by showing the highest viewer count up higher on the page. When you start to get viewers. you'll rank higher and the chance of people finding your stream increases. Use a funny or interesting title to lure them in. Not everyone will watch your stream, but the more dedicated and the larger your dedicated viewer base is, the more new viewers you'll attract each stream.

Giveaways once in a while will attract viewers. Just make them decent sized and not too often, just maybe when traffic is lacking. People might come for the giveaway but stay for the content.

Don't "stake for viewers". if you're staking, use your own money.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask. this is all based on past experience so maybe people can fill in or correct me, but that's what I found works. Good luck streaming!
