Many people would rather live in the US. But not to worry, the real wall isn't physical. Trump may get one, but if he doesn't, he's been creating a metaphorical wall by making the US less desirable, especially to Mexicans. When he strokes the fires of xenophobia and racism he helps build an invisible wall between America and what was once considered an ally. When human rights are violated at the border, that's keeping the Mexicans out. When he gives more money to the rich, or pawns off the national parks, or censors the climate change pages on the NASA website, or defends Nazis and Confederates, or tries to get millions of people off healthcare, or allow Net Neutrality to be killed, or obstructs an ongoing investigation into himself, or closes the government for a month he is making it so that one day, Mexico will pay for and build the wall because there will be so many Americans moving south
