This street musician died two days ago of pancreatic cancer. He was an outstanding human being and deserves to be listened to one last time.

hi. i do indeed play guitar. i can also play sultans of swing, because it's actually not that hard to play... i'm not sure if you play guitar. but that's entirely beside the point.

over a hundred thousand people die each day. if every utterly average guitarist who dies gets a corresponding tribute post in /r/videos, this sub would just be a cesspool inane garbage. just like all the other big defaults that get flooded with ridiculous sob stories on a daily basis, like /r/pics. posts that would be entirely meaningless and nobody would give a single shit about, were it not for the context of the sob-story title.

i'm not just being a dick, to be a dick. i'm being a dick in an attempt to preserve the little remaining integrity reddit has as a conduit for sharing interesting and intriguing content. which, i'm sorry, maybe i'm a dick, but this simply is not. it's a low-quality video of an average-quality guitarist playing an average-quality song on an average street corner. and if he hadn't of died, nobody would give a SINGLE SHIT. THAT'S my problem with this post. we forsake the integrity of this website, to make ourselves feel a little bit better for acknowledging some fucking random dude, who we will all forget about in the next 10 and a half minutes.
