Drink driving is a bad idea full stop! I, unfortunately am guilty of this stupid act and regret it so much. I crashed my new car and caused 3000€ damage to it. I paid it off and all and its like nothing happened BUT i could have killed myself and/or passenger, a pedestrian or even some poor mutt. Being without my car caused me to miss a day at work. I had to get lifts of co-workers for a week. Mocked and rightly so for crashing my lovely new car. The hassle that accident caused me was terrible and could have been avoided if i just had some cop on. Even though all of that i got off lightly! No one was hurt, no gardai and my insurance didn't cover me.
But i have truly learned my lesson and i regard myself a better and safer driver.
And i never will drink and drive again.
