Strike Super Build

I'm a strike super player myself.

First a note on race. Male human (tall/buff) is the highest possible strike super stat choice, if you can connect they will hit harder than any other option. They also have passive ki regeneration which is surprisingly nice if you play like I do where basic attacks are used only to link into strike supers not as a significant portion of damage.

I would, however, like to make at least a nod to the laternative choice (the one I choose actually) which is female saiyan. I admit it sounds odd, but female saiyans (at 100 in strike super) at level 80 have almost the same strike super as a male human with 100 in it. (They take about a 2.5% damage cut for racial choice) AND they have significantly weaker atk, less health, and no passive ki gain. Also super saiyan is ass at boosting strike supers compared to kaioken... So why the hell would I choose it?

Well, it's more of a qualitative than a quantitative answer but as female saiyan my default 1 ki spender is "Evil Rise Strike" on a male human by necessity it ends up being "orin combo". Maybe someone out there can use evil rise strike the way I use it on my female saiyan but when I try it either I whiff a lot or I end up using it a lot more sparingly. ERS is +10% damage over Orin and just straight up a better skill. I can use ERS more effectively than I can Orin on a human and WAY more effectively than I can ERS on a human.

Further as a female saiyan it is actually worthwhile for me to put Dynamite Kick on my bar! As a human I would never have time to land it. Why would I use such an awful looking attack? Dynamite Kick actually does more damage (for only 1 bar) than many strike ultras! (95% of the damage of Unrelenting Rush for instance)

Lastly (though this one is probably the most meh of the bunch) female saiyans "bonus" (comperable to the defense on majins or the ki gain on humans) is large increase to z-assist proc. Justice combo is honestly pretty meh but it's completely "hit confirmable" and z-assists.

So yeah, talked around the issue a lot but basically if you're going to strike super (imo) there should never be a question of whether or not it's going to land... If you compare the whole body of strike supers to the whole body of ki supers ki is the only way to go. If you compare only the hit confirmable and okemi-based strike supers to the hit confirmable/okemi ki supers though strike looks a lot less terrible.
