I strongly oppose abortion in almost every case.

Maybe so. But more forced pregnancies and unwanted babies leads to more crimes against said children such as mothers killing the baby once she gives birth, abuse, bad living situation for the child, etc. There are already, currently, a very high number of children who need homes. Personally, my biological mom did not plan to have me and gave me up for adoption the second I was out. After me, she had 3 other children although she did love us all, she was in no situation to be raising a child and ended up losing custody. She did have an abortion at some point in time due to similar circumstances but didn't ever get another one due to people purposefully making her feel horrible about her choices, despite the choice being the best path for her. After losing custody, despite having turned her life around, her feelings of shame and failure towards her self resulted in her spiraling leading to her to OD. Don't get me wrong, I love all of my siblings. But if someone is in no situation to be raising a child, they shouldn't be required to carry the baby to term. The baby feeds off the mother and the mother should have absolute complete say on what feeds off her resources. She knew the risk of sex, she was on birth control and took it regularly however even that didn't stop her from getting pregnant. Point I am making is that there are already leaving breathing humans out there that deserve and need our help.
