Also, a controversial view. I hope that strongman will pay the athletes more money! Currently strongman athletes win few shows and retire. Like Hafthor (who could be easily one of the greatest of all time), Eddie and soon Licis. The reason behind it, is that they can make much more money outside of strongman without risking their health. Boxing, documentaries, sponsoring, acting etc. everything pays good money!

On the one hand it sucks that the passion for the sport get lost because of the financial and health aspect but on the hand, I can fully understand their move and I would do it too! Back then they didn’t had this option, so they sticked to their guns.

I did a niece sport myself and they had the development! People sell themselves out much quicker but because they can do it !

Im not sure if their will be a goat again because strongman takes so much from you and dont gibe much back ! The quality is getting insane but the money doesnt keep up !
