I know you're coming from a place of frustration, but I agree with you.

PF's aren't the places to greed for logs. Right off the top you are going to have a hard time filling that "perfect" comp that can give you all the DPS boosting you could possibly need, second you're not going to get the kind of dedicated boost to your parses that you'd need to log a competitive parse. So just play it safe, play to succeed. If you wanna get a competitive log, you're gonna need a pre-arranged group, whether that's a static or a group of buds or what.

1. People need to be more resilient and man up a bit. The odds that you're going to find a group all at exactly your skill level is near-impossible. Again, the goal should be completion, not speed-running or other silliness. At the same time, there's something to be said when you can tell a group isn't going to do it, or it's going to take way more time than you have and thought you'd need. Resilience is an issue.
