stuck on silver?

If you are stuck in a rank there are a few things I look at. 1. Are you playing semi-consistent between games as winning 2 and losing 4 straight will increase the time back to rank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HJ3pW7Q4xk. Watch that video and you will understand consistency better. 2. How do you prepare for you matches? A.K.A how do you warm up or try to improve game sense and play. I started to notice the more time I would take to practice shots and weapons I was noticeably bad with I would play better when I jumped into games. Keep the weak spots in mind when warming up because muscle memory and habit are great tools when used wisely. 3. This one in my opinion is the biggest one and that is who are you playing with? When I played with friends that were new to counter strike I never ranked up because we didn't function as a unit. We all had weak spots and no one really complimented the shortcomings of the other members. That doesn't mean don't play with your friends but consider that unless you always play as a unit and find how to balance out weak spots most likely you will sit stagnate in rank. 4. Practice, practice, practice and practice some more. There is no better way to improve your game then by repeatedly getting your ass kicked while learning how to avoid being put in those spots. Bad at entry frags? Well then join a deathmatch and work on nothing but sweeping entries. Horrible at letting the other team over run you when holding? Join a DM and pick a spot and defend it like that is your home. This goes back to my other point but I think that most people just think that by playing MM over and over they will get better. I like to think about this way. You get very little play time and time to really improve on shots and game sense by only playing 15-20 minutes out of a 50+ minute match. Spend every second outside of MM practicing and improving. 5. Last and final, ask someone that is better than you to play with you and help you improve on the things they see you consistently slacking in. You can add me, id\wasup, and I am happy to play with you and let you know what's up. I am currently MG2 since I came back but my highest rank was DMG. Nothing to rave about but I got there in 2 months of playing, also not that great but yeah. Ask around and don't be afraid to work on your weak spots.
