I mean I’m a bit biased since Chicago is my alma mater but if you believe college rankings at all people consider it to be up there.
Honestly I loved my experiences. I felt professors respected me, I had great research opportunities, classes were great, and I managed to have a good time. I mean, I obviously spent a lot of time doing problem sets and reading, but I’m not sure I really had many obstacles, per se? I probably wouldn’t have taken Tibetan as a language class if I could do a do-over though haha.
I mean, like, should I have procrastinated less? Sure. But I found it easier than high school since you had more time outside of classes and you took classes you were genuinely interested in so it felt like less of a chore.
