Shady, yes. I've come to learn that people can be pretty dishonest in general. An employee I work with recently put in their two weeks and when I asked to see their portfolio it was riddled with work that I know they didn't do, one of which was something of mine. A few other pieces were ones in which they simply edited but didn't actually conceptualize or create themselves.

This person got a job using this portfolio. Needless to say I was pretty mad. It doesn't really affect me as much as it affects that entry level designer trying to get ahead honestly and who was likely a way better fit for that job.

I sort of got off track here but to sum it up - there are dishonest people out there.
