Hmmm yeah everyone is saying the same about studios but the location (even though zone 5) is in a prime location bang in the middle of the town centre. The paying off question was basically about paying off help to buy vs overpaying mortgage. As if I want to pay off help to buy I would need to save hard in those 5 years and not overpay the monthly mortgage BUT if i want to overpay the mortgage monthly I wouldn't be able to save a big bulk of cash to pay off the government loan. After 5 years of interest free I will start getting charge interest on that £40,000 and the initial mortgage would be about £120,000

My mum has told me to live in it as long as i can/up to and over the 5 years save up the interest free loan and repay it in bulk and remortgage the property as BTL ? I was thinking that making the overpayments through the years so we are conflicting??

.....I just want to live in the nice flat and be able to get to work and back lol why are there so many future complicated things to think about !!!!
