Study: School days should begin later in morning. School closures had a negative effect on the health and well-being of many young people, but homeschooling also had a positive flipside: Thanks to sleeping longer in the morning, teenagers reported improved health and health-related quality of life.

Since this is a science forum, looks like the study isn't great.

At the root of this chronic sleep deprivation is the adolescent tendency to stay up late. Teenagers maintain later bedtimes than younger adolescents, even when wake up times are constrained by school or work [2,3,4,5,6]. This delayed timing of sleep is popularly attributed to many external influences, ranging from evening work to social opportunities [7]. Current evidence demonstrates, however, that social factors cannot completely account for the adolescent delayed sleep onset typical of an evening chronotype.

Then it talks about the nonsocial aspects but doesn't really say how much of a factor the biological aspect is. Also I am skeptical that a few weeks in a lab yields the best results for altering sleep and then seeing if the kid sleeps early. I'm not saying it isn't possible, I have just seen a few of these studies that I have issues with.
