Studying Habits

So everyone is totally different but in my experience:

When it comes time for the test, Treat your homework like a test; if you’re ready for the test, you’ll be able to do the homework without notes. Each class will be a bit different in this respect but especially true for math, physics, chem, and other courses.

Memorize things (for bio especially). Yes it sucks, but just bite the bullet, a great many questions will simply rely on your having memorized something from the lecture slides.

Get tutoring! Or office hours. But at the same time, you have to learn it really; they can help explain but you’ll have to do the legwork.

Lastly, really try to understand what your learning; explain concepts to your friends or dog when your friends get sick of it haha. Ultimately this is the smallest point but the most relevant, because being able to look back and say “hey well I understand this about chemistry” is what will stick around years after the class itself

Good luck!
