Marceline Abadeer

Bio: Marceline was once a vagabond, walking the wastes of an apocalyptic world, protecting those in need of protecting and fighting against vampires. The irony of the situation was that she ended up as a vampire herself, bitten by the Vampire King and becoming an ageless creature of the night. She lived for a thousand years, watching as war tore the world apart, and as a new civilization was built on the ashes of the old. Living for centuries caused her to "lose track of her moral code", in her own words, and now she's a reckless and mischievous party girl with a thirst for adventure.

Research: RT here. The entire series is available on Hulu. The mini-series "Staked" is all about Marceline and is a highly recommended watch. In fact, if you want, all you have to watch is "Staked".
