Stuff that went on in school that you assumed happened in every school, but years later you have learned its not common? I'll start:

During my 2nd year of secondary school (2004) all second year classes were gathered to a forty minute talk with the principal, house head and form teachers.

We had our first student from Africa joining the school and they went over everything with a fine tooth comb while carefully choosing their words making sure we knew the consequences for any racial bulling.

At the end of it all after our principal has finished talking, our house head (he was an oul fella) chimes back in and blantly barks at about 70 teenage lads.

"So when he gets here, no one call him a black bastard or a N*****"

We all lost it and fell about the place, the other teachers staring at him in disbelief lmao.
