‘Stunned’: Amy Coney Barrett refuses to say she would keep birth control and same-sex marriage legal

I’m not familiar with any of the writings you’re referencing but I’d love to read them if you have a link. Either way though, I’m not sure how that’s relevant to the initial accusation or my assertion in my comment. Most SCOTUS nominees have a judicial record because the law has been their life. Still, no previous nominee has ever opined verbally in confirmation hearings whether or not they agree with a previous SCOTUS decision. There literally isn’t a single example. So while I may see the hypocrisy in the decision to go through with the nomination process, and while I may personally disagree with many of the personal beliefs Barrett holds, I’m still trying to focus my ire on the parts of this that are real and not fabricated out of an emotional “lashing out” by people so desperate to stop this from happening that they’ve lost the ability to debate coherently.
