Suarez goal vs Getafe (2-0) - Credits to /u/Omar_Til_Death

I still think the same and always have done, he does seem like a good person who is a little crazy. I admit I'm probably a little biased because like most people I love seeing talented footballers, and as a player he is a pleasure to watch. Also, I'm not saying this is right or anything, but I find that whenever someone who isn't obviously a complete piece of shit gets that amount of hate, it kind of makes me root for them.

[This is all just my opinion] I'm not trying to excuse anything he's done, but it does seem like he has been a bit unlucky (though biting people three times is pretty fucking out of wack lol). I really think the Evra case is weak if you actually look into it, it seems like a either a difference/problem with how racism is viewed in South America as well as a language barrier thing. I agree with the ban/fine, because he was in England and once you have a "Say No to Racism" policy you should stick by it, it just shouldn't have been dragged out the way it was.

Secondly, although I loved Ghana in the world cup run, he just did what he did to win, in the same vein I don't hold it against Henry or Maradona. If anything, his handball wasn't as bad as those two because he got punished on the pitch and Gyan shoulda scored the pen. It's still 'playing the game' yes, but if anything it's closer to the professional fouls you see all the time rather than manipulating the rules. This isn't fullproof, if he had dived and got the Ghana goal disallowed that way I would probably hate him, that's just how I feel about that particular moment.

Again, to clarify that's just my opinion, I'm not trying to excuse him, I'm just saying it seems like he caught an awful lot of shit for things that in the interest of fairness are serious, but not that serious, they're just mistakes, it's unfair to highlight them and use them as a complete judgement of his character.
