This sub is hilarious

It's definitely a different type of game with different items.. but they could find plenty of stuff to get you to pay for. I was just talking about clothing, not mounts.. but since you brought it up, you could say the same about cars in GTA V. You don't need to buy one, you can just go out and take one. I don't think horses will be "buy only", but I'm sure they'll make you pay to get the fastest/ toughest ones (as it should be).

I personally don't think (and hope) Red Dead Online will be as heavy on microtransactions as GTA Online.. but I still think they'll be part of the game and there are a lot of things they could (and should) make players pay for in the game like clothing, firearms, explosives, weapon upgrades, holsters, holster upgrades, "guns for hire", consumables, horses, saddles, camp materials, property, etc. It's a good thing to have lots of stuff to buy in games like this if the prices are balanced well, it just goes to shit when microtransactions fuck with the balance of in game prices.
