This is interesting. I have not found any other evidence yet of her being labeled as half-white other than seeing some comments talking about this same story that you mentioned and also people confusing that photo of Zanab's step mother with her father shown on the show because she calls her step mother as "mom". Now, because every other mention of her family has been in terms of her being brown and nothing about being half-white I wonder if someone misremembered/misrepresented her ethnicity to fit their narrative about her and everyone else is just going off of that information. I hope I can find some conclusive statement or screenshot or interview or whatever about her saying she had a white mother because the discourse around her being white/half-white is a little too uncomfortable at this point
