Submitting SAT Subject Scores questions

No, subject test scores are for freshman admission to a school within the university, not a major, although obviously majors are divided up by school.

The particular school within the university that you are applying to (say, arts & sciences since you are undecided) should make very clear what subject tests are required/recommended, if any, for admission. When you go to enroll in a major within the same school, as a sophomore or whatever, they will not be looking back at your subject test scores from prior to admission.

However, if you are looking to transfer to another school within the same university, that can be difficult. My understanding is that's usually based on your current college grades. Transfer to engineering school within the university, for example, can be very difficult to accomplish, and you should realize this now, before you apply undecided.
