suboxone methadone help please

Sorry your having to deal with all that BS. I have been in a similar situation and it can be completely overwhelming, I would remind them that you cannot afford the subs and really keep pushing that angle. But, don't ask for anything specific or they will say you are drug seeking. Such BS.

If he is still insistent on giving you subs after that, go to you primary doc or the Physicians board like you mentioned and tell them you felt the doc was rude and incompetent wish to get a second opinion.

I know you are worried that you have no other options but what this doc prescribes or the street but remember, like I said before, you can still go to an actual methadone clinic if you have no other option. It can and often will be inconvenient (especially for the first 6 or 8 months) having to go in everyday but its still way better than going back to the street. Never knowing if you are going to be sick or not from one day to the next. The stress from that is way worse than having to get to a clinic everyday for awhile. Anyway, just wanted to remind you that you still have other options besides the street.

Though if you do ever decide to go to a methadone clinic, you may want to use some other opiate besides subs for a week or two before you try to switch to methadone or they will make you wait (sick as fuck) for like a week before they let you switch.

Because, the subs will stay in your system so long that they don't want you to be at risk for getting precipitated withdrawal. Trust me, you don't want to experience that shit. Anyway, Good luck man. I hope it all works out well for you. If you need ever to talk or vent, feel free to PM me anytime. I know how much it helps to just get it all out.
